Eight vehicles were damaged and 60 windows broken at the library in Co Antrim and North Eastern Education Board.
It happened on the Lough road, Antrim, just before midnight last night.
A police spokesman, said: "it is believed all eight vehicles will have to take the road for damages."
Officers are attractive to anyone of the information to communicate with them.
Member of the Assembly of DUP South Antrim Pam Lewis said it was a disgraceful attack.
"Those involved in the rampage of destruction must be captured and made to pay for what they have done," she said.

A police spokesman, said: "it is an attack without mercy, without taking into account the whole of the community of the Northeast region." Many people is severely affected by this attack; not only the young people who rely on resources vandalized, but the large number of people who earn a living in the local Education Commission. »
He added: "the conviction of all sections of the community is encouraging and highlights that it was an attack against an institution having consequences in the long term through the Ireland of the North."
"Those who carried out this attack are absolutely without support of the people of Antrim and the people of North Ireland."
